Job title: HSE Lead
Job Purpose:
The HSE Lead is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Management System for TIM Aerospace operations at Dubai World Central. The role supports the safe commencement and ongoing operation of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with applicable UAE HSE legislation, airport authority requirements, and industry best practice. This role is critical to the organisation’s safety governance and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company HSE Management System.
• Establish HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work appropriate for hangar and maintenance operations.
• Ensure HSE requirements are embedded within engineering activities.
• Lead hazard identification and risk assessments across all maintenance and support activities.
• Define and oversee control measures for high-risk activities.
• Provide competent HSE oversight during live operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE HSE legislation.
• Ensure alignment with DWC / airport authority HSE standards.
• Act as the focal point for HSE engagement with external agencies.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Define and manage HSE induction and training requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture.
• Investigate HSE incidents and near-misses.Monitor HSE performance indicators and report to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience – Essential
• Diploma in Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Recognized HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in HSE.
• Experience within an aviation MRO or aviation organisation.
Desirable
• Experience supporting start-up operations.
• Familiarity with UAE HSE regulatory frameworks.
