Position Overview
3 – 5 Years Experience in aircraft mechanical maintenance, preferably in MRO or base maintenance (C Check environment)
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft mechanical maintenance tasks during C Checks and heavy maintenance inputs.
• Carry out maintenance on airframe, engine, and associated aircraft systems as assigned.
• Support structural inspections, defect rectification, modifications, and component replacements.
• Perform routine servicing tasks including lubrication, fluid replenishment, and greasing.
• Assist in removal and installation of aircraft components such as engines, landing gear parts, panels, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret AMM, SRM, IPC, SBs, and other technical maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with approved procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Accurately complete task cards, maintenance records, and documentation.
• Identify and report defects, discrepancies, and damage to supervisors or licensed engineers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in serviceable and clean condition.
• Ensure compliance with SMS, Human Factors, FOD prevention, tool control, and hazard reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, QA, stores, and production teams to support maintenance flow.
• Participate in shift handovers and daily maintenance briefings.
• Support aircraft release activities, customer inspections, and delivery timelines.
• Mentor and support junior technicians and mechanics when required.
Qualification & experience requirements:
Essential
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in aircraft mechanical maintenance, preferably in MRO or base maintenance (C Check environment).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems including airframe, engines, hydraulics, and landing gear.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals such as AMM, SRM, IPC, engineering drawings, and maintenance instructions.
• Experience in mechanical servicing, component removal/installation, and defect rectification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow maintenance procedures accurately.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet aircraft delivery deadlines.
• Basic understanding of SMS, Human Factors, and safety procedures.
Desirable
• Progress toward or holding EASA Part-66 B1 License.
• Experience on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft (A320, A330, B737, B777, etc.).
• Familiarity with MRO maintenance tracking systems or digital maintenance software.
• Experience in multinational maintenance environments.
