Aircraft Structures / Composite Technician


Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled structural and composite maintenance tasks during aircraft C Checks and heavy maintenance.
• Inspect aircraft structures for corrosion, cracks, dents, delamination, fatigue, and structural damage.
• Carry out structural repairs and modifications on fuselage, flight controls, doors, panels, fairings, radomes, and wing components.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting, sealing, and fastener installation/removal.
• Conduct composite repairs including bonded repairs, patch installation, vacuum bagging, and curing processes.
• Perform corrosion removal, treatment, and prevention activities.
• Utilize approved maintenance manuals, SRM, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Complete maintenance records, task cards, and repair documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with SMS, tool control, FOD prevention, PPE, and safety procedures.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and participate in maintenance briefings and shift handovers.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, QA, planners, and other maintenance teams.
• Support aircraft delivery schedules and assist junior technicians when required.


Qualification & experience requirements:

Essential
• Diploma or technical qualification in Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Composite Technology, or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft C Checks / heavy maintenance environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in aircraft structural repair and composite maintenance activities.
• Experience working on commercial Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft.
• Knowledge of sheet metal repair, corrosion control, and composite repair techniques.
• Ability to interpret SRM, engineering drawings, repair instructions, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in structural assembly, fabrication, bonding, and composite curing processes.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines.

Desirable
• Composite repair certification/training.
• Corrosion control and Human Factors training.
• Familiarity with electronic task card systems.
• Experience in multinational maintenance environments.
